Relisting my 2005 Toyota Matrix XRS, being sold FOR PARTS/AS IS and not drivable. With Ebay's new seller set up, I'm hoping to avoid the scammers this time. It bounced off the guard rail a couple times in an extreme weather event. Most of the damage was marks and dings all around the body. I towed it to a body shop, they checked the unibody to make sure the frame wasn't tweaked (0), have receipt). Brought it home as a project car. Got new headlights (no bulbs), new rear bumper w/paint and new rear tail light. Also comes with brand new set of KYB shocks boxed up in the back seat, uninstalled. Prior to the accident the car was tuned and running well with new purple transmission fluid and filter. TSR performance air filter. The vehicle is mostly complete. it starts and runs currently and is moveable...but NOT ROAD WORTHY as it needs the tires aligned, the bumpers properly attached, the rear DS wheel hub/axle needs to be repaired, and the electrical system needs resetting from the DS curtian airbag being deployed, so it starts and runs, but the gauges, windows, climate control, sunroof, etc. are disengaged. They were all fine before the accident. Otherwise it has been driven around the block every now and then to circulate things. This is the Matrix XRS, despite missing the XRS emblem, and has the 2ZZ-GE 12 Valve engine and 6-speed transmission that are compatible with the Corolla XRS, Celica, Pontiac Vibe and others. The JBL stereo system is complete, with the amp, but the rear bass speaker and box are disconnected. Loved this car, but with covid and two kids, too many dings, dents and repairs; had to get a Prius This vehicle is for LOCAL PICK UP ONLY off Interstate 40, ext 37 in Candler, NC. There is a large Travel Center there for easy loading. The vehicle must be towed. It can easily be driven onto a flatbed. Parts, parts, parts, Thanks
