    Today's smart Homemakers know that there is a difference in Maple woods.  That's why Tell City uses only the species of maple known as "Hard Rock Maple."  For this close-grained wood resists dents, scratches and chipping... is actually so hard it will bend a nail if you attempt to hammer it into this wood without first drilling a hole.  To bring out the pleasing variations in tone and color inherent in solid woods, Tell City uses a clear, close-to-the-grain finish for easy care and lasting beauty.
    Today, the majority of old growth maple trees are expended.  Few companies can now offer the quality construction of TELL CITY furniture.
    CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
    For everyday care, dust ONLY with fresh clean cloths of cheesecloth, flannel, old wool or silk.  Since many waxes and polishes five a high sheen to furniture, we recommend a low-luster polish such as Bruce Deep Cleaner for Wood or Johnson's Pride to maintain the dull finish of this piece.  If a high sheen is desired, we suggest Johnson's
    Instant
    Pride.
