EXQUISITE Efchenbach porcelain laying Airedale Terrier dog figurine made in Germany! The figurine design/mold was made by Prof. Theodor Karner for Efchenbach. This gentleman was one of Germany's most prestigious artists in the porcelain arts. He along with Franz Nagy worked for many of the famous German companies such as Meissen, Rosenthal, and Hutschenreuther. After World War 2 Karner & Nagy used some of the SS Allach molds while working at Efchenbach. This wonderful airedale dog is HIGHLY detailed and a work of art!.
Marked on the belly with the green stamp Efchenbach Bavaria Germany along with F NAGY and K 40g.
Measures approx 9 inches long and is 4 1/2 inches tall.
PRISTINE Condition!!!!! He was stored in a box with tissue and does not even have dust on him!
