FREE SHIP Chinoiserie Chest Buffet Dresser 1940-1950 Hand Painted Vintage 58"

Description

This chest was made by Union National Furniture Company, Jamestown, New York (1891-1994). The Union National Furniture advertisement shown in the picture gallery above appeared in House & Garden magazine (Nov1967).  This company produced high end furniture. Hand-painted in the Chinoiserie Oriental Style.   The chest is mahogany under the chinoiserie.  The hand painting is beautiful  Lots of drawers, shelves, and 2 divided drawers (underwear, socks or silver flatware-your choice).  Dimensions:  58" Wide x 35"High x 22.5" Deep.  Purchased at Dumouchelles Auction Gallery and professionally restored 15years ago. The restoration was directed at chinois losses, repairing,  and french polishing, and not to make it look new.  The piece exhibits cracklelure in the chinois which is normal for its age. The age is 1940's.  Round brass pulls (3" diameter) are original. The pictures do not do justice to this unique piece of furniture.  Even more lovely up close and in person.  Loaded with luxe oriental decoration. To be happy with this piece, please do not assume that 'restored' means 'like new'.  It's vintage, not perfect,  & not new.  It will look vintage in your home.  If there are areas you would like better pictures of, please ask.   If you have other questions, please ask.

:  I ship once a week.    I'm usually shipping many items, so your item will be sent the following week after you've won and payment has cleared.   Faster shipping  can be arranged if you contact me before  your purchase  to request expedited shipping .  You’ll be billed via Paypal  for expedited shipping cost.
My ship costs are estimates only.  If the ship cost exceeds the eBay estimate,  you will be notified via PayPal to meet the difference. This may occur after the sale.  I will not know the exact ship cost on some large items or international items  until I take the piece in for shipping.

:  I will work with the buyer to use the best ship method.  If  pickup and crating is necessary,  I normally use Craters & Freighters.    If I can pack the item I’ll use: Greyhound, USPS, UPS-depending on the size of the package and the cost.  Local PickUp  is always available-must be pre-arranged with seller.
