    Description

    Selling a beautiful and very rare vintage “Rond” Cassina side table or end chest with two drawers. It was designed by Patrick Jouin as the 393-11 Rond white side table for Cassina in gloss white lacquer with inner drawers made of carved red cherry wood. The top drawer has beautiful red cherry wood on the inside with carved compartments of varying depth and size. The chest has two slide-out drawers both equipped with functioning soft touch/release mechanisms. The lower drawer has irregular height side walls as pas part of the design (one side wall is higher than the other). Chest is in good vintage condition with small surface scratches and small/tiny dings/blemishes here and there that are not too noticeable unless inspected up-close.

    This is a beautiful and very rare statement piece of furniture and once it sells it’s gone so don’t miss your chance and bid early.
    Cash and local pick up only!  TOO LARGE TO BE SHIPPED!  CHEST/CABINET IS LOCATED IN THE WASHINGTON, DC AREA. PayPal is an accepted payment option as well but since item is for local pick-up (i.e. without tracking and shipping documents) buyer must inspect the item on pick-up in person and acknowledge receipt of item according to description through eBay messaging system and must exchange feedback before item leaves the premises.
    Same applies to shipping/pick-up arranged by buyers on their own through a specialized shipping/moving company - item must be inspected on pick-up by buyer’s shippers and buyer must then acknowledge through eBay messaging system of his/her shippers’ taking possession of the item and both parties must exchange feedback before item leaves the premises.
    This is expensive furniture and I do not ship it because it is too bulky, heavy, and fragile, and I don’t want to take the risk of something being broken in transit. Buyers however can arrange shipping/pick-up on their own in line with the terms stated above.
