    Description

    For sale here is a nice looking Emson Harmonica In Case right out of a US WW2 Vet Estate.  The harmonica is complete with intricately painted Opera Case.  The case is marked Made in Germany - US Zone.  The case shows light paint wear to the outside and some spots of age grey to the inside.  The harmonica is chrome and shows wear and age to the metal surfaces, but the black painted wood is in fine shape.  I would guess that most of the wear to the harmonica is from rattling around in the case for 75 years.  Both sides of the harmonica are marked Emson Harmonica, and one side of the harmonica is marked Made In Japan in very small letters.  I don't play harmonica, but this one has a great sound, and is slightly higher in pitch than most of the others that i have had.  For reference, the harmonica is approximately 6 1/2" long, 1 1/4 high, and 3/4" wide at the widest point.  This is a great piece that will play or display well.
