RECLAIMED SHABBY SHEEK SHABBY CHIC
As soon as I laid eyes on this vintage dresser, I knew I had to rescue it. Sure it was worn and in bad shape, but it had great bones and I was positive that with a little elbow grease, I could turn it around and give it a new life.
After a deep sanding, thorough cleaning and some spot repair, I picked a very on-trend teal/aqua/turquoise color and hand painted and waxed it myself. I decided to leave the original hardware as it was absolutely essential to maintaining the vintage charm of this piece.
Now it is finally ready to go to its’ new home. This dresser is versatile, in that it will work well in a bedroom but could also be used as an accent piece for additional linen storage in a living room or dining room and compliments many color and design schemes.
