Vintage C H Meinel Flutonica Harmonica.
This harmonica was made by C.H. Meinel-Schlossmeinel in Germany, undetermined date. It is a Flutonica model, with 10 single holes and 20 reeds. This harmonica has a light brown stained comb with three finger holes to produce a trembling sound, and a removable end cap to control volume. The harmonica is stamped:
FLUTONICA
C.H. MEINEL-SCHLOSSMEINEL-MARK
Very rare harmonica and unique piece. There is one on display in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
