    Description

    Vintage The American Ace by Fr. Hotz. Harmonica in the key of C. Prop-plane box.
    I’ve had this harmonica for nearly 30 years. In that time it has been stored in a dark, cool, dry closet. The previous owner, who I knew, also kept it well protected as the box shows little wear around the edges and is very clean and in remarkably good shape. The box with harmonica inside measures, 4-1/4 by 1-3/16 by 15/16 inches.
    The harmonica itself has a few blemishes and tarnish but no rust. The chrome is excellent. The brass is a little stained and aged. The wood is beautiful. The sound is rich and melodious, the number 10 hole requires a lot of wind but all work well on exhale as well as inhale. I'd guess it to be produced before 1940.
